The city of Lexington will be playing host to an event that will combine raising funds for veterans and their families with music, fun, and food.
Boots in the Bluegrass will offer those who attend a chance to get together with their friends and families while they enjoy dinner, live music performed by Jordan English, raffles, a live auction, and an assortment of other activities. The keynote speakers for the evening will be veterans who will be sharing inspiring stories of how they overcame challenges in their lives. Graphic design can be utilized to prepare everything from logos to decorations, Brochures, Flyers, and other items for fundraising events such as this.
Monies raised through the function will be contributed to USA Cares, which is a not-for-profit group that provides support for veterans from all service branches. It provides assistance with career transitioning, housing, combat injury treatment, and emergency help.
The evening, which has been dubbed as “the most patriotic day in Kentucky”, will take place on January 20, starting at 6:00 pm in Lexington’s Alltech Arena. Tickets are $50, with veterans being admitted free of charge. Corporate and sponsor VIP tables are also available, and all donations will be welcomed.
