Lexington Children’s Theater has an exciting line up of theatrical productions lined up for Fall.
The theater began in 1938 and holds plays, acting and theater production classes for children 4-18 years old.
The play la oferenda will be performed on September 22 at 2 p.m. and September 28 at 7 p.m. on the LCT Main Stage. It is about Alex and a magical skeleton that teaches the boy about compassion and courage in life.
School matinees will be performed September 19, 20, 26, 27, at 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. It is appropriate for ages 9 and up.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar will be performed on October 6 at 2 p.m. and Oct 12 at 11 a.m. The Mermaid Theater of Nova Scotia will show how an amazing caterpillar has amazing adventures as he eats through a variety of food to become a butterfly.
School matinees for this production are October 8-11 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Holes will be performed on November 2 at 7 p.m., November 3, 9, 10 at 2 p.m. Stanley’s family is cursed and he ends up accused of a crime he did not commit in Camp Green Lake. He digs holes, makes friends and eventually proves his innocence.
Matinees will be performed on November 6-8 and 13-15 at 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Theaters and organizations like this often make use of poster printing services.
