The state of Kentucky is planning a tourism summit for Lexington next month, bringing leaders from across the state together to discover and share new ideas.
The Bike Walk Kentucky Summit 2024 will start in a few weeks, creating a forum for hundreds of leaders from the tourism, government, transportation, recreation, and education industries to develop new ideas and explore the best practices.
Leaders and advocates from cities and towns across the state will attend to network and boost tourism in Kentucky. Cyclists and walkers will also be invited to participate in and contribute to the summit. The event organizers hope to spur ongoing conversations among all residents interested in the growth and well-being of Kentucky. Business Cards are a fantastic way to network and forge new connections at summits and other leadership events like this.
Scholarships will be available to interested parties wanting to attend the summit, though they’re limited in number. Registration for the summit covers the cost of two meals during both event days. A community bike ride and morning yoga have been organized as part of the summit for those seeking to remain active.
Transylvania University will host the summit on August 15th and 16th. The doors will open at 9:00 AM, and the summit will conclude at 5:00 PM. Student tickets are $50, while general admission tickets cost $75. Reservations can be made online.
