The Junior League of Lexington has announced the schedule of events for this year’s Holly Day Market. This will be a three-day affair that will feature events for the whole family. It will also be a chance to commune with friends.
The market event was originally created as a way for the Junior League to raise money while promoting the quality of life in the Bluegrass State. It has grown to become a family friendly event that offers something for people of all ages. This year’s market will feature wreath auctions on all three days, and animal adoptions from the Humane Society. There will also be pictures with Santa, a fashion show, and a VIP Shop and Sip.
Of course there will be a check presentation ceremony spotlighting the agencies that sponsor the Junior League. There will also be several choirs and other singing groups providing inspirational songs to bring holiday cheer. Those that attend may want to bring cameras for capturing festive images for later use in converting pictures into Holiday Cards.
The market will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from November 13 through 15 at the Kentucky Horse Park, 4089 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington. Hours will be 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday, and 11:00 am until 5:00 pm Sunday. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
