Kentucky Wildcats basketball fans are in for a memorable evening, as a star from the 1978 National Championship team will return to the area and host a speaking arrangement.
Jack “Goose” Givens, a member of the 1978 National Champion Wildcats team, is preparing to host an evening with fans through the An Evening With Goose event, and area fans are invited to attend. The gathering will support the Kentucky Bar Foundation and feature little-known stories and anecdotes from Givens about the 1978 season. The Bar Foundation provides grants to law-related programs and organizations throughout Kentucky.
The meet-and-greet will use a question-and-answer format and will be hosted by a local attorney who manages the questions. During the evening, fans will have the opportunity to purchase signed Copies of Givens’ memoir, They Call Me Goose.
Complimentary appetizers will be available for registered guests, and drinks can be purchased at the venue’s cash bar. Discounted parking is also available to ensure a stress-free evening.
Meet-and-greets and book signings are often one-off events for the local area, so poster printing is a low-cost method to advertise these.
The Hilton Lexington will host the evening with Goose on Tuesday, February 11th, with the doors opening at 4:30 PM and the event ending at 6:30 PM. General admission tickets are for sale online at $25 per person.
