Food Network star takes show on the road

‘Alton Brown Live: the Edible Inevitable Tour’ is coming to Kentucky this February.

Brown is best known for his show ‘Good Eats’, which aired on the Food Network and highlighted the science in cooking. This is the first traveling show in which he has participated.

Guest can expect a combination of standup comedy, live musical performances, science demonstrations, puppets, and storytelling. Two of the featured activities are the instant creation of ice cream and cooking a pizza in four minutes. Audience members can choose to purchase tickets in the "poncho zone", which includes the first few rows of the theatre. Here, people cancan get messy and are given plastic ponchos to cover their clothes. Some in the audience will also be called up on stage to assist with demonstrations.

VIP tickets, which included a meet and greet with Alton Brown and an autographed 8 x 10 inch photograph, have now sold out.

Printing companies may have helped to advertise the show in the surrounding areas, such as in Lexington, by providing Posters and Flyers.

Alton Brown Live is taking place at the EKU Center for the Arts in Richmond on February 11 from 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Ticket prices begin at $21. Call 859-622-7469 for more information.
