The Crave Lexington festival is taking place in the city next month for two days. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to several local charities.
The festival is expected to feature the food of over 50 local restaurants and food trucks. Several will be providing cooking demonstrations and presentations for the public. There will be a variety of cocktails and local craft beers available for purchase as well. Vendors will be on hand to sell arts and crafts, food and souvenirs, and some may hand out freebies.
There will be musical entertainment from artists like Tee Dee Young, Magnolia Boulevard, The Rooster’s Crow, Grayson Jenkins, and the Northside Sheiks. In addition, there will be a car show displaying classic cars from years gone by. For the children, there will be bouncy houses, arts and crafts activities, and face painting.
This popular festival is likely to draw people from all over Lexington to enjoy a variety of good food and drink. To advertise, organizers of such events often contact a local flyer printing firm for help.
The Crave Lexington festival will be held at the Bluegrass Fairgrounds in Masterson Station Park from August 11 to 12 beginning at 12:00 noon each day. Tickets are $8 for those aged 12 and over. For more information about participating restaurants or musical performers, call 859-266-6537.
