Event to showcase locally made fine arts

‘Kentucky Crafted: the Market’ is taking place this March, with the Kentucky Arts Council hosting it.

More than 200 artists and crafters will be displaying a variety of contemporary fine arts. hile most of the artisans are expected to come from Kentucky, many will make the journey from out of state. There are also expected to be Kentucky-related items such as Books, music, films, and food products for sale. Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities and listen to music provided by the Kentucky State Music Festival.

Day one of this event is for those in the trade only, which includes stores and wholesalers.

The event is an opportunity for local artisans to showcase their work to the community at large. It will also allow the public to find unique and handmade items for their home, or to give as gifts to friends and family.

This arts and crafts market will likely be widely advertised in the Lexington area. This may include products from printing companies such as Posters, Signs, and Flyers to be distributed throughout the city.

The event is being held at Heritage Hall in the Lexington Center and Rupp Arena from March 6 to 8. Admission is $10, or $15 for both days, and free to children aged 15 and under. For more information about the show, call 502-564-3757.
