Conference hopes to prepare future business leaders

The 28th annual Economic Outlook Conference is taking place next month. It is presented by several organizations including Commerce Lexington, UK Gatton College, the Lane Report and the Center for Business and Economic Research.

The day will start off with a continental breakfast and networking. That will be followed by several speakers including Mark E. Schweitzer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland who will be discussing the national outlook, Dr. Christopher R. Bollinger from UK Gatton College of Business and Economics who will talk about local and regional economic forecasts, Dr. Ana Maria Herrera, also of UK Gatton College, who will discuss oil prices and Ben Chandler of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky who will talk about Kentucky health.

There will be a networking break and a question and answer session at the end of the morning.

This is a good networking opportunity for Lexington business leaders. Many of those planning to attend will be placing a new order for premium Business Cards. They will want to ensure that their contact information is current and that they have enough cards to exchange with their peers.

The Economic Outlook Conference will be held at the Lexington Center Corporation on February 7 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Tickets are $115 each. To find out more about this event, call 859-257-8746.
