The 32nd annual Antiques and Garden Show is taking place next month in Lexington, presented by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation.
The show will start off with a preview gala party on March 3. Guests will enjoy cocktails, appetizers and a silent auction. They will also get to do some early shopping. Tickets are $130 each, $250 for a couple, and $95 for young collectors aged 35 and under. All include a three-day show ticket.
The show itself will feature lectures from speakers such as Patrick Howard (who will discuss flower arranging), Matt Collinsworth (who will talk about folk art) and Mel Hankla. A special luncheon lecture is set to feature a keynote address from Amanda Nisbet. The lunch costs $65 and includes a ticket to the show.
There will be over 80 vendors who will be selling a wide variety of antiques and garden accessories, while professionals will also be on hand to provide information about their services.
There will also be a Kentucky Treasures exhibit, bar service, and an a la carte café.
To help spread the word about this event in Lexington, organizers may invest in brochure printing services.
The Antiques and Garden Show will be held at the Alltech Arena from March 3 to 5. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Call 859-253-0362 for more information.
