The eighth annual OWL Foundation Golf Outing is taking place this July in Lexington.
This is a fundraising event for Opportunity for Work and Learning (OWL, Inc.), with the fees covering a round of golf, the use of a cart, on-course refreshments, lunch, and a reception after the event at the 19th hole.
Each player will receive a goodie bag, a golf towel, and a t-shirt. Additionally, there will be a silent auction and a pro-led golf clinic.
Sponsorships are available for $500 up to $3,500, and sponsors will be recognized on banner displays around the course.
The OWL Foundation has existed since 1961 and helps people with disabilities find employment. It does this by hiring people, training them, and finding them a job, with some of the instruction provided in forklift certification and customer services. The organization also offers a clothing bank and life-skills lessons.
Golf is always a great networking opportunity and no doubt many of the Lexington corporate leaders who plan to attend will be placing business card printing orders in advance.
