The 36th annual Kentucky Book Fair is taking place in Lexington next month over two days.
There will be over 170 local and national authors appearing at the fair. Among those who are confirmed to appear are Rita Mae Brown, Wendell Berry, Crystal Wilkinson, and Christopher Farnsworth. Authors will be giving readings and signing Books. They will also be hosting panels and presentations on topics such as young adult fiction, the veteran experience in literature, and literary crime as opposed to pulp fiction. Presentations will be taking place on three stages.
Book vendors will also be on hand to sell Books by this year’s authors and many others.
The first day of the fair is Kids Day and will have programming for children in grades 3 to 8. Over 34 children’s authors will make appearances, including Christopher Rowe and Kristin O’Donnell Tubb. The day will start off with a speech by the state’s Lieutenant Governor. Attending children are advised to bring their own lunch.
It is likely that some of the book vendors will be handing out Promotional Products, such as bookmarks that were provided by a Lexington Print company.
The Kentucky Book Fair will be held from November 17 to 18 at Alltech Arena. Admission is free of charge. For the most recent information about this fair, call 859-257-5932.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Books
