Annual dinner to introduce new chairman

Commerce Lexington Inc.'s annual dinner is taking place at the end of next month.

This is one of the most important network events of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, which will be introducing its new chairman for 2016, Alan Steine. The new man at the top will give a speech talking about his priorities for the coming year.

In addition, several awards will be handed out, such as Ambassador, Volunteer and Public Policy Advocate of the Year, as well as two Distinguished Leader Awards for members of both Leadership Lexington's youth and adult programs. The W. T. Young Lifetime Achievement Award is also usually given to individuals in the community who have a long history of helping the community.

Before, during, and after dinner there will be plenty of opportunities to talk about business. Many of those attending will likely be putting in a new business card printing order with their favorite Lexington Print company, helping them to make an impression with newly printed and up-to-date cards.

The annual dinner will take place at the Lexington Center's Bluegrass Ballroom on January 28 from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Tickets are $95 each and tables of 10 are available. To find out more about this event, or about the awards, contact the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Inc. at 859-254-4447.
