Annual conference to target entrepreneurs

The 3rd annual Emerge conference is taking place this month in Lexington, and will be hosted hosted by Commerce Lexington, Inc.

The main focus of this event is on young professionals and entrepreneurs. It will feature speakers, an entrepreneur panel, networking opportunities, and exhibits. Among this year's speakers are Paul Wesselmann, Alli Truttman, JK McKnight, and several local business leaders. There are also set to be breakout sessions on topics such as branding, mentorship, collaboration, and work-life balance.

The conference will also be partly a tradeshow. Local businesses can rent a booth for $350 to be given the opportunity to showcase their products and services to their peers.

The lunch will be a good chance for those attending to meet some of their fellow entrepreneurs and possibly form new partnerships. The day will end with a networking reception.

This event should be helpful for both experienced young professionals and those who are just starting out on their journey.

Lexington business card printing firms may find an increase in orders leading up to the conference. There will be many chances to exchange cards throughout the day.

The Emerge conference will take place at the Lexington Center on April 19 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Fees are $125 for Commerce Lexington members and $149 for non-members, while lunch only is $50 or $60. Call 859-254-4447 for more information.
