A painting course is scheduled to teach Olathe residents painting basics next month, providing tips for attendees to paint their favorite pets.
The Paint Your Pet at Craft Putt event will kick off in a few weeks. It will provide animal lovers and pet owners with a hands-on painting experience to bring their favorite pets to life through paint. Instructors will lead registered guests through the process of creating a masterpiece.
The course, hosted by local artist Jonnie Ray, will offer step-by-step instruction. Interested parties need not have an artistic background or skills to participate. All participants will leave the event with sharpened painting skills and a portrait of a furry friend for the family to enjoy. Interested parties are encouraged to bring friends and family to enjoy the positive and creative atmosphere. Printing services are an excellent way to make Copies of paintings from such events to give as gifts.
To participate, registered guests must choose a photo of their favorite pet and send it to the course instructor before July 29th. All supplies will be provided for the event, and guests will receive a complimentary drink to remain refreshed.
The class will be held at Craft Putt on Thursday, August 1st, beginning at 6:00 PM and ending at 8:30 PM. General admission tickets are available for $45 per guest, and interested parties can make reservations online.
