Local high school helps Olathe students study Earth

A high school in Olathe has announced that it will be hosting an educational event next month with the goal of teaching students in the area more about the planet.

The Olathe North Geoscience: Kids’ Day Out event is right around the corner, and children who want to learn more about the Earth and how they can protect it are invited to register. The event is expected to be a fun day of learning and discovery for elementary-aged students in Olathe.

The event’s primary focus will be on examining how humans can reduce waste by reusing or recycling resources. Students will also get to explore the many wonders of the planet and what makes it so special. Organizers have ensured that the experience will be filled with fun activities that promote learning with hands-on methods. Brochure printing can be helpful for such events, allowing organizers and instructors to provide more information to students in one document.

The activities are being organized by the Olathe North Geoscience 21st Century Academy students. Registration for the learning event will close at the end of the day on March 4th. A snack will be provided to all students.

Olathe North High School will host the educational event. Organizers have announced that it will be held on Saturday, March 7th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Tickets are $33.85 per student and can be purchased online.
