Olathe residents looking to stay active and pursue health endeavors will want to make a note on their Calendars for next month, as a yoga festival is setting up in town.
The 4th Annual Free State Yoga Festival is preparing to kick off soon, providing a setting for yogis and other health enthusiasts to meet with like-minded individuals and invest in their health and wellness. This year’s festival will be held on a 22-acre farm and retreat to combine an adventurous setting with a relaxing experience in nature.
Attendees can participate in several outdoor wellness activities to get the most from their experience. Activities will include breathwork sessions, meditation in nature, a 5K fun run, and yoga stretch and workout sessions. Instructors will also lead wellness discussions to inspire participants and help them set and reach their goals. Brochure printing can provide a comprehensive idea of what to expect for registered guests at such workshops and retreats.
A free gear swap will allow visitors to exchange yoga clothing and other outdoor equipment. Local health and wellness vendors will have a space to set up booths, hand out Promotional Products, and display their wares.
The festival will be hosted by Hometown Olathe Family Farm, starting on Saturday, August 9th, at 7:00 AM. Yogis and interested parties can make reservations online for $129 per person.
