Olathe middle school hosts color run fundraiser
A color run is being organized by a local middle school as a fundraiser with the goal of bringing the Olathe community together for a good cause.
The Indian Trail Middle School House Color Run will be held in the coming weeks, providing a blend of fun, house pride, and color. The run will involve students racing against each other while being immersed in house-colored paint. The students will run laps, and with each lap, they will raise more money to fund upgrades to the school in support of local education. All four houses will compete for the grand prize.
The upgrades are planned to provide an enhanced learning and teaching environment for all students, teachers, and staff at Indian Trail Middle School. The runners will collect donations from friends and family members who attend the color run while earning points for their house. Banner printing is a superb way to promote such events, while also welcoming runners to the finish line at the event’s conclusion.
A DJ will play live tunes to keep energy levels high, while local food trucks will open their menus for light bites and meals. Yard games and raffle prizes will add to the family-friendly activities.
