Woodworkers and craftspeople in the Olathe area should mark their Calendars next month, as a woodworking and crafting workshop is scheduled for the city.
The router workshop, which begins in a few weeks, plans to teach participants about routers and how they can be applied to woodworking and crafting. Students will learn the applications and uses of the router and the benefits it provides for projects and construction. The course instructor will also provide insight into picking the proper router for all types of projects.
Attendees will also learn more about choosing different router bits and techniques to achieve specific outcomes. The basic cuts taught by the course instructors will help participants learn to use the router efficiently, with the purpose being to teach guests how to use routers on future projects. Flyer printing is a useful way to spread awareness of events like this to the broader community.
Participants who reserve a spot will receive a 15 percent discount on items purchased from the hosting company, Rockler Woodworking and Hardware, on the day of the class. Interested parties can choose from 1-on-1 instruction or group sessions.
The course will be held on Sunday, February 4 at 11:00am, and will continue until 1:00pm. Tickets cost $100, and guests can email store44@rockler.com to reserve a spot or get more information about the course.Get a Free Quote for Calendars
