Upcoming weekends in Olathe will bring music and fun to the community.
On two upcoming weekends, people will have the chance to listen to four different bands as Liverpool, Vinyl Revival, Just What I Needed, and Synchronicity play as part of the series “Olathe Live!”
Liverpool is a Beatles tribute band who recreate the sound, look, and songs of the iconic group down to the last detail—even the haircuts.
Vinyl Revival plays classic rock and pop songs, many from the 1980s. Titles on their setlist include Robert Palmer's “Bad Case of Loving You,” and “Runnin' Down a Dream” by Tom Petty.
Synchronicity is comprised of four musicians from the Kansas City area who have formed a tribute band for The Police. Songs on their setlist include hits like “Message in a Bottle,” and the timely “Don't Stand So Close to Me.”
Just What I Needed is a tribute band for the group Cars. The group, which is based in Kansas City, recreates both the sound and the look of the Cars as they were in a live performance.
Liverpool and Vinyl Revival will be at Stagecoach Park on July 10, with Just What I Needed and Synchronicity following on July 17. Both shows start at 7.00 pm, and are free to the public, though donations are collected to support local charities. Poster printing can be used to create colorful advertising for events like this.
