Aberdeen Village will be hosting an art exhibit in Olathe this March.
The event is called the Art is Ageless Exhibit. It will be celebrating art that is created by seniors from the local area. Having seniors at the event showcasing their art this way will help to reinforce the idea that human creativity is ageless. The art will be created by individuals of different artistic levels; both amateur and professional artists will have their work on display.
The exhibited items will be created from things such as photographs, acrylics, oils, and other means. Individual pieces that win at the community level event will go to another level, known as the master level judging. The winning pieces at this level will be used in note cards and the annual calendar. The public is welcome to be a part of the exhibit.
The event is said to have many benefits for the participating seniors. It increases their self-esteem, improves their critical thinking, allows them to build bonds with individuals around them and those outside their age group, and more.
Print shops are a great way to create useful materials for artists to use while creating their art at events such as this one.
The event will take place from March 24 to April 2. It will start at 8 am and will end at 5 pm each day. The exhibit will be located at the Aberdeen Village on 17500 W 119th Street, Olathe, Kansas.Get a Free Quote for Print
