Rotary club golf tournament set for Olathe
Golfers and golf enthusiasts should plan their schedules wisely next month, as a golf tournament is planned for the Olathe area.
The Olathe Rotary Club's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled to begin in a few weeks, which will bring a competitive spirit and a friendly atmosphere to the Olathe region.
The event will suit seasoned and experienced golfers, as well as beginners who want to test their skills. Guests are encouraged to bring their clubs to compete with Rotary Club members and other participants in the tournament.
Attendees will play on the lush grass of Heritage Park Golf Course while enjoying fresh air. Participants do not need to worry about their abilities on the course, as the golf tournament promotes fun and friendliness. The event also supports a worthy cause, with the funds raised by the golf tournament going toward the Rotary Club’s community service initiatives. Business cards are a great way to network at community events like these.
During the tournament, participants will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and two beverages to remain fresh and energetic. Top teams will earn prizes for their scores while contributing toward helping the local community.
Check-in at the golf course is set for 7:00 AM on Wednesday, May 8, with the shotgun start beginning at 8:30 AM. Interested golfers can register to play in the tournament online for $125 per golfer.
