The Qlathe BBQ Championship, a competitive event sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, is looking for contestants to register for the 4th annual staging to compete for a share of the $10,000 prize purse.
Over 70 amateur and professional teams will test their skills and go head to head for the overall prizes of Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, and 3rd place. There will also be category prizes for the best chicken, pork ribs, pork, and brisket.
Registration is now open and the entry fee is $225. Each team will receive a 20’x40’ stall, one 20-amp circuit, a commemorative T-shirt, and a pin on the day of the event.
Banner printing can be an informative and creative way for event organisers and competitors to provide information at events such as these.
The competition will take place over two days on Friday, March 18, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturday, March 19, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Judges will announce the winners of the competition on the second day.
