The American Society of Professional Estimators will be holding an educational event in February at the Ball Conference Center in Olathe.
The 18th Annual Construction Estimating Academy is a conference where general contractors, construction cost estimators, and project managers can learn about several estimating-related topics. This year, the presentation will cover subjects like construction estimation law, the latest construction technology, and significant trends in the industry. Attendees will get to network with other guests throughout the conference. People who go to programs such as this can bring Business Cards to trade with fellow professionals.
The conference will start with a continental breakfast, followed by a welcome address from the American Society of Professional Estimators. The attending senior estimators will host a panel, and attendees will then participate in breakout sessions. Panel members will be announced at a later date. The event includes lunch, a networking happy hour with appetizers, and door prize giveaways. Beer and wine will also be available during the evening networking session.
The event will occur on Thursday, February 4 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Those interested in attending the estimator conference must register in advance. Refunds for the event will be available up until seven days before the program. Registrants who cannot make it can send someone else to go in their place within seven days of the conference.
