Tall Trellis Brew Co., a brewing company and taproom, has announced that it will be opening its doors in Olathe in the coming months.
Tall Trellis’s goal is to combine the popular microbrewery concept with the coffee shop, offering both beer and coffee made from local ingredients. The storefront will include a bar area and tables, as well as offering drinks and locally grown hops for takeaway purchase. The hops will be grown on-site in a yard adjacent to the cafe, and then used to make fresh beer and ale.
The brewpub looks set to face stiff competition in a booming market. In addition to existing businesses, three other new microbreweries are set to open in the Kansas City area this year – River Bluff Brewing, Vine Street Brewing, and Friction Beer Co.
In order to help build up excitement for their launch, Tall Trellis has already launched a line of merchandise with its company Logo Design. This includes T-Shirts, hoodies, glassware, and gift cards for the forthcoming store, which are available for pick-up. Tall Trellis Brew. Co has not announced an official launch date, but expects to open its doors in February or March 2022. The brewery, coffee shop, and hopyard will all be located at 25600 W. Valley Parkway.
