Kansas City-area auto show to return

The Meadowbrook Car Show, one of the Kansas City area’s biggest automotive exhibitions, will be returning with an outdoor event this April.

The event will see 100 vintage cars parked across the length of Meadowbrook Parkway, including rare and unique vehicles. Local enthusiasts can apply to have their own cars included in the display. The show is a fundraiser in support of the Olathe-based Kansas City Automotive Museum and The Parks & Recreation Foundation of Johnson County, with the latter planning to use funds to support its new Public Art program. The outdoor event was approved by the local City Council with masking and other safety restrictions in place.

The Car Show typically sees 2000-3000 visitors, many from nearby areas like Olathe and Kansas City. This year’s event will kick off on the preceding Friday with an evening cocktail party including live music, light food and drinks, and a raffle. The Show itself will also include food trucks and family activities like a scavenger hunt. Community events like this often present an opportunity for local businesses to win over repeat business with samples and Promotional Products. Entry to the Car Show is free, although visitors can also register for a gift bag with commemorative items and discounts for local businesses.

The Meadowbrook Car Show will take place at Meadowbrook Park on April 10, with the cocktail event happening on the evening of the 9th.
