Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fundraiser teaches Olathe youth

An action-packed fundraiser is planning to visit Olathe next month, providing area youth of all skill and experience levels an opportunity to learn new skills in self-defense.

The Ninja Stars Invitational 2 will be arriving in Olathe soon as part of the Ninja Stars International Project. The gathering will serve as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition, while also celebrating the Olathe community, the growth of its youth, and the opportunities for success. Interested parties of all ages and belt levels are encouraged to enroll and participate in this year’s event, including youth divisions and black belts.

First-time attendees are welcome and will receive hands-on instruction to develop their skills and confidence. The money raised at the competition will benefit Ninja Stars International in their mission to help young athletes from around the globe come to the United States to build a better future through martial arts. Flyer printing is an excellent way to promote community events, increasing attendance and fundraising revenue for the event.

The setting will be family-friendly, and small businesses in the area are welcome to help sponsor the event. Donations are also welcome to promote the organization’s mission and make a difference.

The competition will be held at Olathe North High School on Saturday, June 14th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Doors open at 1:30 PM, and tickets are $21.25 per person.
