Top crooner Michael Bublé will be in the city for one performance, which is likely to sell out. Bublé is a native of Canada, and although he began signing as a child, at one time he also wanted to play professional hockey for the Vancouver Canucks. Fortunately for his fans, he concentrated on singing.
Bublé credits his grandfather for his interest in the type of music he embraces. Although he enjoys rock and modern music, his grandfather loved jazz, and shared it with his grandson. The early exposure to artists such as the Mills Brothers steered him toward jazz and pop and away from hard rock. Bublé began his career singing in clubs as a teenager, and released his debut self-titled album in 2003. He has also appeared in numerous films, and made more than 50 television appearances.
Reviews of Bublé concerts include:
“Michael Buble was fantastic, and we absolutely loved his band. What a treat to see and hear and experience his music in a live setting. . . . Overall, Michael Buble and his band get an A++.”
An Evening with Michael Bublé in Concert is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 1, at 8.00 pm, at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on South Pennsylvania Street. Poster printing is often used to publicize events like this.
