This November, the Battle of the Badges Indy 2026 will be held in Indianapolis to raise money for local fire, EMS, and police officers, and this year specifically focuses on two officers who have served the community.
The Battle of the Badges is a local Indianapolis tradition that pits firefighters, EMS, and police officers against one another in friendly yet fierce hockey game. The game brings fellow first responders together in comradery and also supports those in need.
The proceeds raised from ticket sales go to a different designated individual or their family each year. This year, proceeds will be split between the family of Beech Grove police officer Elliot, who sacrificed his life for another in the line of duty, and another officer who was hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
The hockey game will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Organizers advise that attendees enter through the Weaver popcorn youth pavilion entrance. There will be a full merchandise booth set up this year so that attendees can purchase game-related merchandise.
Events like community games or competitions are often advertised on colorful, eye-catching Posters that can be printed in bulk at local Print shops specializing in poster printing services.
The Battle of the Badges Indy is slated for November 7 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion is located at 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis.
