Beginning this June, the Levitt VIBE Indianapolis Music Series is back for its third season of providing free live concerts set in public outdoor spaces so that the whole community can enjoy a summer of musical fun.
The Levitt VIBE (Vibrant Inclusive Beats for Everyone) Indianapolis series is a local chapter of the national Levitt VIBE program that is made possible by the Los Angeles-based Levitt Family Foundation. The program is designed for large cities with populations over 250,000 with neighborhoods with limited art programming and live music access. To ensure public access to high-quality performances, the concerts feature both new, emerging artists and seasoned award-winners that perform in local, regional, and national circuits.
The June edition of Levitt VIBE Indianapolis will be held at Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis (CAMi) campus and will feature Brandon Meeks (jazz), Ida Y Vuelta (Mexican folk), and Gümmi (electronic pop). There will be food trucks and a vendor market called Lux & Ivy’s Daydream Market. The CAMi campus galleries will also be open to visit.
Outdoor concerts like this will often be advertised on visually appealing Posters that organizers can hang up around town. Local Print shops with poster printing capabilities may also be used to prepare these Posters in bulk.
The first Levitt VIBE concert is slated for June 7 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. CAMi is located at 1125 Cruft Street, Indianapolis.
