Next month, those interested in learning a new art medium should note that the Factory Arts District in Indianapolis will be hosting the Kinusaiga Sunset: Paint with Fabric event.
The art class will be presented by Aimee Bruno Art of the Factory Arts District. Aimee Bruno is a mixed media artist known for her vibrant, expressive colors and abstract Forms. Her work boasts many accolades, including being displayed at the Nickel Placet Arts Campus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. She teaches several classes for those of all ages and levels.
This particular class will teach attendees how to create a colorful design by utilizing fabric instead of paint. Kinusaiga is a Japanese textile art form that uses fabric scraps tucked in grooves on wood board or foam to create an intricate “painting” or mosaic without the need for sewing. Students will receive hands-on instruction on how to create a sunset piece.
Art classes can include printed instructional materials to guide students as they take the class. These materials can come in the form of Booklets or Brochures, which organizers can get printed at local Print shops offering brochure printing services.
The Kinusaiga Sunet class is slated for Thursday, October 8 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The Factory Arts District is located at 1125 East Brookside Avenue, Indianapolis.
