Next month, the Indiana Brewery Running Series will be hosting its St. Patrick’s Day 5K for any Indianapolis residents wanting to celebrate the holiday in a more active way.
The Indiana Brewery Running Series is a series of 5K events that start and finish at local Indiana breweries, mostly in the Indianapolis area. Each event in the series supports a local charity and is designed to provide residents with a fun way to exercise and socialize, while also giving back to the community. The St. Patrick’s Day 5K will be held at Ellison Brewery and will support the Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS).
Participants are welcomed to run or walk at whatever pace feels comfortable as they traverse an open course through the surrounding neighborhood. After running, attendees will receive a free craft beer and a seasonal swag item based on the Brewery Run Series. They will also have the opportunity to win other goodies and Promotional Products from sponsors. At the brewery afterparty, there will be live music, concessions, and local vendors for all to enjoy.
The St. Patrick’s Day 5K is slated for Sunday, March 14, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will be held at Ellison Brewery at 501 Madison Avenue. To find out ticket prices and learn how to register, visit the organizer’s website.
