A Samaritan Companies affiliate has announced plans to develop a seniors-only apartment complex on the north side of Indianapolis, near Heritage Christian School. The complex would offer 132 housing units.
The developer has an option to purchase a number of parcels to build the project, which would be four stories tall and comprise 170,000 square feet. The planned site covers 6.5 acres and is located on East 75th Street, in a residential area. The project’s cost is estimated at $19m. Developers of projects like this can work with a brochure printing company to develop Booklets that show the complex’s amenities to potential residents.
Each unit will feature a washer and dryer, a full kitchen complete with all necessary appliances, and either a balcony, or a covered patio. On the complex’s first floor, a community room and club room are planned, along with other public spaces, while lounges, a salon, and a business center would be located on the second level. Parking will also be part of the development, with a total of 153 spaces planned.
The rent for the units will be charged at the market rate ofbetween about $1,000 and $1,500 monthly, with units ranging from 735 to 950 square feet in size. Housing would be limited to people 55 years of age and older. The complex should open in Summer 2020.
