This July, horror fans should note that the popular Days of the Dead convention will return to its native city of Indianapolis.
The Days of the Dead convention was started in 2011 and soon expanded its convention circuit to Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Charlotte. The mission of the convention was to bring back the spirit of conventions as a welcoming social environment for fans to congregate and bond over similar interests. The convention prides itself on being run by the fans, with the fans in mind.
The horror convention will feature a long list of celebrity guests, makeup artists, and independent filmmakers. Some headliners this year will be Richard Dreyfuss, Alice Cooper, and Corey Taylor. There will also be various vendors present selling horror-specific merchandise and art. Several after-hours horror parties and special activities will be held for congoers.

The Days of the Dead convention will be held from July 16 to July 18 at the Marriott Center Indianapolis. Ticket prices depend on the day of attendance, with weekend passes $75 at the door.
