New trampoline park open in Indianapolis

A new indoor trampoline park, Defy Indianapolis, recently opened on Masters Road on the city's northeast side, and the company says its customers will have the “ultimate extreme air experience.”

The huge space has parkour pits, slack lines, rock walls, and foam pits in addition to trampolines and other extreme sports attractions. There is a challenging obstacle course, but the activities are all safe, which is the aim of the creators. They want people to try something new, but do without any risks.

One of the attractions is the Open Jump, a grid of more than 60 trampolines, including those mounted on an angle to facilitate wall trampolining. Another is the Aerial Silks—long streamers of silk that are familiar to anyone who has ever watched Cirque du Soleil. People can try their skill at working in midair on the silks, safely suspended over a foam pit.

The Air Dunk will allow participants to launch themselves into the air to dunk a shot they could never make on a regular basketball court, try their skills on the Trapeze with a bed of foam for a soft landing, or try walking the Slack Line.

The parent company of Defy is CircusTrix, which is now the largest trampoline park and indoor active sports organization in the world, with almost 300 locations in operation.

Franchisees of this type of company often use poster printing to advertise their location.
