Indianapolis dementia workshop empowers caregivers

This October, Ascension's Center for Healthy Aging in Indianapolis will hold the Dementia Education Seminar to provide caregivers with valuable information and resources on how to care for their loved ones living with dementia.

Dementia can often be a devasting and difficult disease for both the person diagnosed with it and the ones that care for them. The Dementia Education Seminar is a one-day workshop to help caregivers gain insight into the disease in order to better care for their loved ones and family members. The seminar will offer essential tools needed to compassionately and effectively provide care.

Experts in the field will guide participants through how to navigate caregiving challenges while also finding joy in caring for their loved ones. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and have their individual concerns addressed. Connecting with fellow caregivers is encouraged during the seminar to build support networks.

Seminars like this may include printed pamphlets or Brochures detailing what the event will cover. Organizers interested in advertising for such events may decide to visit local Print shops in their area that offer brochure printing services to help with the preparation of such materials.

The Dementia Education Seminar is slated for October 10 from 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent - Indianapolis Center For Healthy Aging is located at 8424 Naab Road, Indianapolis.
