Amateur detectives and mystery lovers have the perfect event coming their way soon.
Maggiano's Little Italy in Indianapolis will be the setting for a Valentine's Day Murder Mystery Dinner, featuring a favorite of many people, a comedy-mystery.
The event is interactive, and while patrons will not be asked to act or take part in the show, they will be tasked with helping to work out the puzzle by watching for clues. Perhaps even better is the fact they will get to enjoy a full, three-course Italian feast, served family style, while they watch the mystery unfold. The show is recommended for those over 21.
The menu's first course features salads, shrimp cocktail, bruschetta, and ravioli fritte. The second course offers four-cheese ravioli; baked rigatoni and meatballs; chicken piccatta; beef tenderloin medallions; and grilled asparagus. Since no meal is complete without dessert, Maggiano's has chocolate Zuccotto cake and New York-style cheesecake to finish the feast. A cash bar will also be available.
February 14 is, of course, the date of the mystery dinner, and the doors open at 7:00 pm. Guests are asked not to arrive earlier, as the restaurant is getting set up for the play. Drinks will be served from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm, with dinner and the show following, from 7:30 pm until 10:00 pm. Maggiano's is on 86th Street, in Fashion Mall.
