Indianapolis wine festival to 'Uncork' its second year

This June, Uncork Me Indiana will celebrate its second year of providing Indianapolis with exclusive access to Indiana-made mead, cider, and wine.

The festival will showcase the talents of local wineries, meaderies, and cideries as they offer samplings of their products to the public. Participating businesses include Acres Away Winery, Backroads Vineyards, Brown Country Winery, and Mad Horn Meadery. There will also be local food vendors present, such as Books Bourbon & Bacon, Treats by Fee, and Later Taters. Live entertainment will include aerial performances by Suspended Animation Aerials and music from DJ MaryJane.

General admission tickets include access to the event from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and unlimited samplings of wine, mead, and cider with a commemorative tasting glass. VIP tickets will include early entry at 2:00 pm, access to a private shaded area with lounge furniture and temperature-controlled bathrooms, a special food and wine pairing by Books Bourbon & Bacon, and a commemorative glass.

Organizers of events like this that offer commemorative items, such as tasting glasses, may design the items to feature the event Logo Design on said items.

The wine festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It will be held at Military Park, which is located at 601 West New York Street. General admission is $55, and VIP tickets are $95.
