Indiana travel writers and media professionals will have a chance to learn and hone their craft at Indiana Media Marketplace in Indianapolis next month.
The marketplace will take place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and will be hosted by the Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC). The IDDC was founded in 2019 by the Indiana Legislature to promote the benefits of living, working, or visiting Indiana. The Indiana Media Marketplace will serve a way to connect media professionals and help them uncover the authentic stories of Indiana and Indianapolis.
Attendees will have the chance to learn from their peers and ask questions about areas in the travel industry different from their own. They will uncover new perspectives about the state and its untold adventures. Representatives from over 40 different travel destinations will be present for journalists to discuss all that Indiana has to offer. After the marketplace concludes, attendees can choose to attend a walking tour and photo op of the iconic speedway.
The Indiana Media Marketplace is slated for Wednesday, November 17, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s address is 4790 West 16th Street, Indianapolis. The marketplace can be attended at no cost.
