Indianapolis to host gastroenterology conference

INSGNA 2022 Spring Educational Conference will be held in Indianapolis this March for the benefit of healthcare professionals in the gastroenterology and endoscopy fields.

The Indiana Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (INSGNA) is a professional organization of gastroenterology and endoscopy healthcare professionals. The organization promotes and supports the continuing education of its members, as well as advocates for patients with diseases of the digestive system.

The conference will include panels of speakers, educational classes, and vendor exhibits. Some topics that will be discussed include liver transplantation, acute pancreatitis, managing chronic abdominal pain. Speakers who will share their insight on these issues include Jeffrey Easler, MD; Sarah Stainko, RN; John Holden, MD; and Caroline Asava, DNP. After the conference, attendees will receive a certificate of attendance. Participants will also receive seven continuing education units (CEUs) for attending.

Breakfast and lunch will be included in the schedule, and there will also be various breaks throughout the day, which may provide ideal opportunities for networking. Attendees of such professional events often prepare by visiting local Print shops to obtain Business Cards.

This year’s conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 5th from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. It will take place at Fairbanks Hall, located on 340 West 10th Street in Indianapolis. Tickets range in price from $40 to $80, depending on membership.
