Indianapolis to hold unique urban camping experience

This August, Aspire House in Indianapolis will host the Camping at the Creek event, allowing participants to engage in night hiking and camping activities.

The event will offer a unique opportunity for people to get out of their comfort zone and have an unforgettable adventure in their own backyard. The camping experience will take place at Eagle Creek Park where campers can set up in campsites that are 15 feet by 15 feet and can accommodate up to eight people. Attendees will need to bring their own tents and sleeping Bags and supplies. Campers are also encouraged to bring their own drinks, snacks, and dinner. Organizers will provide a continental breakfast for the next morning.

During the event, participants will get to take a night hike, paddle in canoes, play card games and board games, and gather at a firepit for socializing and roasting s'mores. There will also be live music and an interactive artist presentation. The morning after, there will be sunrise yoga to wrap up the event.

Outdoors events like this may be advertised on Flyers that can be hung in recreational centers and parks, and organizers can get these materials printed at local businesses that offer flyer printing in bulk.

The Camping at the Creek event is slated for August 24. Eagle Creek Park can be found at 7840 West 56th Street.
