Next month, the 2022 Indiana School Health Network Conference will take place in Indianapolis with the theme of “Celebrating School Health Successes.”
The two-day conference will bring together a wide range of professionals, from educators and school administrators to healthcare practitioners and social workers. This year’s theme will highlight the struggles that students, their families, teachers, and school administrators have endured and overcome during the COVID-19 pandemic. Exhibits will showcase these health success stories, and subject matter experts and dynamic speakers will share resources, information, and inspiration.
The first day will feature Dr. Kristina Box, State Health Commissioner, as keynote speaker. The second day will have Dr. Renae Azziz, NCSP, Founder and Director of Virtuoso Education Consulting, as the keynote speaker. There will also be 31 breakout sessions on five learning tracks in the categories of Administration and School-Based Health Centers, Health and Behavioral Health, Outreach and Enrollment, Policy and Advocacy, and the WSCC Model.
Attendees will be able get the latest updates from school health professionals and network with their peers. Such conferences often encourage the exchange of Business Cards and other networking materials.
The conference is scheduled for June 20 and June 21, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm each day. It will take place at the Indianapolis Marriott East on 7202 East 21st Street, Indianapolis. One-day admission is $25, and two-day admission is $50.
