Next month, Indianapolis will celebrate the big hair and neon outfits of the late ‘80s at the Back to the '80s Prom, which will also benefit the nonprofit Indy Honor Flight.
The prom will be presented by The Peterman Family Foundation, and its theme will be based on the popular trends, fashion, and decor of the 1980s, including leg warmers, teased hair, and glam rock. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their most glamorous, retro ‘80s fashion to further add to the immersive experience.
There will be live music complete with the hottest songs from the ‘80s, and ticket purchase will include entry to the prom, a complimentary drink, and a three-course plated meal. Vegetarian and vegan meal options will be available upon individual request.
Proceeds raised from ticket sales will go towards supporting Indy Honor Flight, which is a nonprofit organization that provides WWII, Korea and Vietnam war veterans with free transportation to see their memorials in Washington D.C.
Advertising methods for events like this may include flyer printing and distribution, and local Print shops offering such services may be an integral asset to organizers wishing to advertise in this manner.
The themed prom will be held on February 10, and is set to start at 6:00pm. It will take place at The Crane Bay Event Center, which is located at 551 West Merrill Street. Tickets cost $100.Get a Free Quote for Print
