Next month, the Indy Jazz Fest 2022 will be held to celebrate over 20 years of jazz influence in the Indianapolis arts and music scene.
Hosted as the premier event of the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation, the two-day event will celebrate both the jazz masters throughout history as well as the new jazz stars making a splash in the current scene. Artist headliners will include Tank and the Bangas, Norman Brown, Robert Glasper, and Lalah Hathaway.
Before the main festival, there will also be a kickoff celebration and fundraiser taking place at The Jazz Kitchen. This will be a VIP-only affair, with special guest jazz performers, elegant hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails. The main event will be held at Garfield Park, with performances from Tank and the Bangas, Lalay Hathaway, and Norman Brown happening on Saturday and performances from the Indiana All-State High School Jazz Band, Johnathan Scales Fourchestra, and Robert Glasper happening on Sunday.
Large festivals like this often provide printed schedules of events for attendees, and such schedules can easily be printed at Stationery printers in the local area.
The jazz festival is scheduled for October 1 and 2. Garfield Park is located on 2425 Conservatory Drive. Tickets range in price from $10 to $375 depending on if purchasing single-day passes or two-day passes and whether they are VIP or general admission tickets.
