This Easter, Indianapolis families will have the opportunity to participate in the Presidential Egg Roll, which is the only event of its kind in Indianapolis.
The day will involve participants racing each other as they roll colorfully decorated eggs using a wooden spoon along a 25-yard stretch of grass. The races will take place every 15 minutes according to age groups. Children are encouraged to bring their own decorated wooden spoon as there will also be a contest for the best decorated spoon. The Easter Bunny will also be present to cheer the children along, as well as sit for photos after the egg roll. There will also be various spring and Easter-related activities and arts and crafts to enjoy.
Those who cannot join the event in person are welcome to recreate the egg roll in their own backyard and post pictures of it to social media. All they need is a wooden spoon, an egg, and 25 yards of grass, sidewalk, or driveway to participate. Outdoor festivities like this often include Banners as decorations. Local Print shops offering banner printing services can be helpful in such a situation.
The free Presidential Egg Roll is scheduled for Saturday, April 1 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. It will take place at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site at 1230 North Delaware Street, Indianapolis.
