Fair in Indianapolis kicks off tomorrow

Stating tomorrow, June 22, and continuing until Saturday, June 30, the Marion County Fair will take place at the fairgrounds located at 7300 E. Troy Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. This nine-day fair runs all day, every day.

This is the 82nd edition of this fair and attendance numbers are expected to be over 90,000, as they have been in past years. This year’s Marion County Fair promises to offer something new for all who attend.

The main attractions this year include the 4-H, which showcases the talents of the county’s youth and will celebrate the agricultural heritage of the area with everything from arts and crafts to animal judging and competitions. There will be a wide selection of outdoor activities, including motorcycle races, truck and tractor pulls, pageants, demolition derbies, concerts, a talent show, local artists, contests, and the latest midway rides provided by a new company, offering great customer service. This year hundreds of vendors will be on the grounds, selling food which will be second to none.

Poster printing and banner printing may have been used to promote this new lineup to the citizens of Indianapolis. This promises to offer great fun for the whole family, which is a message that the organizers will be keen to get across.

Admission is $5 for adults, while children aged 5 and under enter free. There is no charge to park your car and there is also the option of a season pass for $25. For more information, visit the Marion County Fair website or call 317-353-2444.
