Businesswomen to connect at Indianapolis retreat

The Central Indiana Women's Business Center (CIWBC) and Indy Chamber will host the 8th Annual Women in Business Retreat in Indianapolis this May.

The two-day business retreat will invite businesswomen, women leaders, entrepreneurs, and other professionals to come together to learn from each other, network, and strategize. Both local women and those from out of town are welcome to attend. Retreat ticket purchases will include professional headshots, meals, a cocktail reception, a silent auction, vendor fair, and a wine pull.

On the first day, Welcome Remarks will be presented by Althea Cooper, council chair of the CIWBC. There will be various panels discussing topics such as self-care and work-life balance issues, as well as a keynote luncheon on mental health initiatives by Suzanne Crouch, Lieutenant Governor of Indiana. On the second day, attendees will hear panels about the shift to entrepreneurship and how to reinvent a career. The full line-up of speakers and presentation times has yet to be finalized.

Business-related events like this often many networking activities, such as the exchange of Business Cards, in which attendees might participate.

The 2022 Women in Business Retreat will take place on May 5 and May 6. The venue will be The Alexander Hotel on 333 South Delaware Street. The Daytime Conference Package is $349, and the Conference & Overnight Package is $459.
