Indianapolis to take caffeinated tour through city
The Indianapolis Coffee Guide will soon present the May Roast Ride, which offers people the unique chance to explore the city’s coffee shops on bike.
Founded by Scott Soltys-Curry, the Indianapolis Coffee Guide has been described as a love letter to the incredible coffee community that inhabits Indianapolis. The Guide provides followers with an enriching roadmap to the city’s coffee shops and coffee-related experiences and offers a curated look into the vibrant coffee scene.
Roast Rides takes the Guide quite literally on the road by offering people a chance to explore Indianapolis’ coffee scene on bike. The May Roast Ride will take bikers on a caffeinated journey along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, a premier urban bike and pedestrian trail that winds through parks, neighborhoods, and cultural attractions. Organizers recommend bringing bikes, but if an attendee does not have one, a limited number of free Pacers Bikeshare Bikes will be provided for the ride.
Events that include guided tours may also provide printed maps that participants can use to navigate. Local printing services may be helpful to organizers wishing to print these maps in bulk.
The Roast Ride will take place on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will begin at Richard G. Lugar Plaza, which is in downtown at 200 East Washington Street.
