The Cottage Home Neighborhood Association will hold the 2025 Cottage Home Block Party in Indianapolis this October, offering the neighborhood a chance to enjoy Halloween-themed festivities.
The Cottage Home Neighborhood is a historic neighborhood in the Near Eastside of Indianapolis that boasts cottage-style homes with a heavy Victorian influence. Once a thriving working-class neighborhood, it fell into disrepair in the mid-to-late 20th century until it was revived through the efforts and establishment of the Cottage Home Neighborhood Association.
The association’s block party will take place between the 700 block of Dorman Street and Highland Avenue. There will be live music from performers such as Jeff Bowen, The Dog Moms, Audio Guild, and Grupo Bembe. There will also be food vendors such as BBB, RHB (Burger and Dogs), Costa Brava Milkshakes, and Pronto Taco. Beer and alcohol vendors include Guggman Haus Brewing, Mashcraft Brewing, and Taxman Brewing, among others. There will also be an artisan market and a kids area complete with balloon animal artists and cotton candy.
Community block parties often offer an ideal opportunity for local vendors to boost their visibility in the community, and as such, they may decide to bring along a supply of Flyers or Business Cards to hand out.
The Cottage Home Block Party will be held on October 11 from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It will take place at 714 N Highland Avenue, Indianapolis.
