Indianapolis to flock to chicken and beer fest

The 6th Annual Chicken & Beer Festival will be held in Indianapolis next month to celebrate the Indy food and beverage scene.

The festival will take place at University Park and will feature over 30 local food and beverage vendors representing the best of Indianapolis cuisine. Vendors will be offering a variety of different chicken dishes, from hot wings to global fusion. There will also be plant-based offerings for vegetarian and vegan guests.

Food vendors include Khalani's Kitchen, Huge Impact Restaurant, EveryThang & Potatoes, Connect Grills, Mr. Shawarma, and Yazsh Cafe & Bistro. Beverages featured include not only craft beer but also craft cocktails, wine, and mocktails. Drink vendors include Jeptha Creed, Shake Up, Amiracle Ade Lemonade, and Moontown Brewing Company.

Attendees will be able to purchase tasting tickets, which will offer them access to a three-hour tasting window for food and drinks. There will also be a hot wing-eating contest, live DJ, and other high-energy activities to enjoy.

Food festivals can provide the ideal opportunity for local vendors to meet new customers, which means that many may bring along a supply of Business Cards to hand out.

The 6th Annual Chicken & Beer Festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. University Park is located at 325 North Meridian Avenue, Indianapolis.
